• 5+ years general ledger experience in a Staff or Senior position
• 3+ years SaaS solutions experience (Bill.com, Expensify, Intacct)
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business related field
• Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets
• International payroll experience a plus

Desirable

• The Senior Accountant is a trusted resource to the Accounting Manager, and is responsible for facilitating an accurate and consistent, global financial close process for the Company
• Ensure books are closed in 4 days:
• Maintain prepaid schedules in accordance with contract/invoice terms and record related amortization
• Roll forward fixed asset registers for additions and disposals, and record related depreciation and any gain/loss; liaise with Business Services for annual inventory audit
• Reconcile intercompany balances and record entries as needed
• Accrue for accounts payable and expense reports post-cutoff
• Ensure recurring accruals are posted throughout the year
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for 5 legal entities
• Review results against budget to help identify variances to plan and/or errors
• Manage accounts payable:
• Ensure all invoices are accurately processed and timely paid
• Work with budget owners to ensure postings align with budget
• Oversee Bill.com administration, including cleanup and sync errors
• Manage vendors, including collection of W8s/W9s
• Process year end 1042 and 1099 reporting
• Administer the Company’s credit card program:
• Review credit card receipts from cardholders for proper account coding
• Reconcile monthly statements to the general ledger
• Work with cardholders to establish vendor payment terms in lieu of using cards
• Issue new cards, set appropriate credit limits and process temporary increases as needed
• Research suspected fraudulent activity
• Monitor bank accounts daily and post transactional entries to the GL
• Support annual financial and statutory audits
• Assist with tax information requests and compliance projects
• Serve as a functional backup for team members by cross-training on accounts receivable, cash receipts, equity administration, order entry and payroll
• Seek improvements to the finance department’s technology stack and process workflows
