  • Professional experience in a Pre-Sales / Sales Consulting / HR role

What the job involves

  • Workday is looking for outstanding Pre-Sales Solution Consultants in France for our Human Capital Management suite. This is your chance to demonstrate the product, and extend the value of next generation HCM Applications for new customers
  • Human Capital Management (HCM) Solution Consultants leverage their in-depth product knowledge of Workday’s HCM enterprise software and industry knowledge to provide deep functional expertise throughout the sales process
  • Working as part of the Solution Consulting team, individual Solution Consultants partner with Account Executives to engage in discovery around an organisation's current environment and deliver relevant, impactful presentations and product demonstrations that illustrate how Workday’s Enterprise applications can address requirements, solve business concerns, and create value
  • The delivery of relevant technical product presentations, demonstrations, workshops and seminars
  • Assist in the closure of sales opportunities by demonstrating a complete understanding of and resolving questions regarding our solution, services and training
  • Contribute to the qualification of prospects, proposed demonstration criteria, proof of concept system builds and sales cycle closure plans
  • Supporting all sales, marketing, technical and channel objectives
  • Assist sales in the response to RFIs/RFPs
  • Building trusted-advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders who are influencers and decision-makers in an evaluation process
  • Continuously upgrading your skillsets and knowledge through the learning opportunities provided by Workday

Workday is a cloud-based software vendor that provides management of workforces and finances. The company uses a single database for workforce management and financial management to offer integration and optimize business intelligence across companies. It has added to the packages and tools it offers over the years, providing analytic options that allow companies to combine third-party data with information collected by Workday.

Workday has acquired and paired up with many other companies to keep expanding its offering. In 2021, it purchased the employee feedback platform Peakon in response to the growing need for managers to be able to survey workers and collect satisfaction data without face-to-face meetings. The company has also bought and developed many financial tools and HR management tools.

The company’s goal is to provide end-to-end back office services and while there are other providers, such as UKG Pro and Ceridian HCM, Workday’s broad offering helps them to stand out. Though it faced a tough global market in 2023 and has shed some of its headcount, Workday has seen a 6.5% gain in value in the first quarter of 2024. It is now focusing on growth and developing the AI capabilities of its platform. .
