Who you are

  • Significant sales experience in new business and/or account management business role within financial services, alternative investments, or B2B SaaS sales
  • Demonstrable success and a record of hitting quota and retention targets
  • Negotiation skills as it relates to renewal upsells, cross-selling, and additional product add-ons
  • Working knowledge of the financial market data space, alternative assets, and financial services industries

What the job involves

  • As an Enterprise Account Executive at Preqin, you can make an immediate sales impact and develop a strong pipeline
  • In this role, you will drive new subscription agreements with firms across the market by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities
  • You will also be responsible for retaining and growing existing account revenue in a designated sales territory
  • Reporting to: VP, Sales Manager
  • Manage the sales process from beginning to end, securing introductions with decision makers while providing support to users, achieving, and surpassing your sales quota
  • Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities within a defined sales territory; this includes new prospective customers and within an existing customer base
  • Provide prospective new business clients with an understanding of Preqin’s products and offerings while developing new relationships with key stakeholders at each firm
  • Manage all aspects of the renewal cycle for our client’s subscription relationships, with a focus on expansion opportunities within accounts and subscription renewals. This includes proactive and consultative client support, ensuring high retention and net revenue growth
  • Provide clients and prospects with detailed proposals, product demonstrations, and consultations (in person preferred, or via phone)
