What the job involves

  • Our Corporate Sales Development team is looking for a new colleague to join us in Berlin!
  • We are looking for driven individuals to be able to proactively build relationships with new customers for Workday, dealing closely with our accounts management team based across EMEA to develop sales activity
  • This role will give you excellent exposure to working with other departments within Workday such as Sales, Marketing, Operations and other departments when required
  • Our team are trusted partners of the regional sales team, collaborate with country managers and work cross-functionally with marketing to define joint strategy for developing the business
  • As a Corporate Sales Development Representative, you will leverage information about the market and our solutions to create sales opportunities for Workday
  • In partnership with other colleagues inside of Workday, you will identify and develop these conversations and work closely with Account Executives in your area of focus
  • This is an opportunity which is exciting in the present and also builds skills for your future career as well
  • The role will give you excellent exposure working with other departments within Workday such as Sales, Marketing, Operations and other departments

  • Intensive Training & Certification: Every CSD Representative attends a new-hire induction day, a 2-week intensive training academy and will finish a formal certification prior to beginning in the role. Full sales academy certification after the first year

Workday is a cloud-based software vendor that provides management of workforces and finances. The company uses a single database for workforce management and financial management to offer integration and optimize business intelligence across companies. It has added to the packages and tools it offers over the years, providing analytic options that allow companies to combine third-party data with information collected by Workday.

Workday has acquired and paired up with many other companies to keep expanding its offering. In 2021, it purchased the employee feedback platform Peakon in response to the growing need for managers to be able to survey workers and collect satisfaction data without face-to-face meetings. The company has also bought and developed many financial tools and HR management tools.

The company’s goal is to provide end-to-end back office services and while there are other providers, such as UKG Pro and Ceridian HCM, Workday’s broad offering helps them to stand out. Though it faced a tough global market in 2023 and has shed some of its headcount, Workday has seen a 6.5% gain in value in the first quarter of 2024. It is now focusing on growth and developing the AI capabilities of its platform. .
