Senior Financial Accountant, Job&talent

• Chartered accountancy qualification (or similar)
• 2–4 years of experience in an Accounting or Audit function
• Strong excel skills
• Adaptable and eager to deliver on multiple competing deadlines
• Experience of participating in cross-functional projects and mentoring junior colleagues
• Experienced with using ERP systems (Netsuite preferable, but not essential)

Desirable

• The Senior Financial Accountant will be a key member of the UK accounting team. They will lead the AP function and reconciliation teams
• This role reports to the UK Finance Manager. The role will lead the reconciliation of banks, accounts payable, working capital debt accounts and our key temporary worker liabilities
• Essential input into the UK P&L and B/S that form part of the consolidated worldwide group accounts
• A key contact point for the UK auditors
• Responsible for month end accounting and ensuring the team hit committed deadlines
• Presentation and explanation of the UK monthly management accounts to the HQ finance function and UK management
• Responsible for numerous monthly b/s reconciliations
• Maintaining an important contact point for the outsourced UK statutory accounts preparation
• Work closely with our temporary worker payroll team to ensure vital temporary worker liabilities are regularly settled accurately and in full
• Ad-hoc projects supporting new business initiatives
