What the job involves

  • Our Sales Development teams are integral to the success of Okta; they align to our core markets in driving opportunity and pipeline to our sales teams
  • Our Dublin office has multiple Sales Development teams selling into EMEA
  • Each team member is aligned to circa 3-4 of our Account Executives, supporting various industry sectors from Corporate, Enterprise, Strategic and Public Sector
  • Okta has an incredible career path for you joining our Sales Development team
  • You will have clear goals and targets to hit for you to make that move into Senior Sales Development and in time into a 360 Account Executive position
  • Partner closely with your Account Executives to fully understand their territory, challenges & opportunities
  • Receive Marketing leads for your territory accounts in order to convert to opportunities
  • Create and manage outreach campaigns
  • Conduct thorough customer research to uncover potential opportunity for Okta’s cloud solutions
  • Identify the right decision makers effectively and find their needs
  • Create, articulate and compelling messaging in the form of emails, inmails, and phone conversations to engage the clients effectively
  • Manage your time and work efficiently with exceptional organisational skills
  • Drive towards hitting your monthly and quarterly targets in line with our high performance culture

Our take

Okta started off as an identity company where organisations, large and small, could tap into the company to have a single sign-on interface to access all cloud applications now centralised. Okta has since expanded to provide identity management at the device as well as the server level.

The new approach towards network security is increasingly based on identification and authentication, and Okta is on track to become the go-to vendor in the space. They aim to do so by developing products that enable people to access applications and other tools more smoothly and securely than ever before.

Okta has taken strides towards expansion through significant employee growth and shuffling executive leadership. The company has also made lateral moves such as tackling governance concerns, opening up new paths for revenue.
