  • Several years of relevant experience in Tax, accounting, finance, accounts receivable, or accounts payable
  • Driving cross-functional projects and influencing/delivering through others
  • Reporting and analyzing data applying KPIs to inform business decisions

  • Big Four experience is a plus
  • Experience identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, determining root causes, and creating/implementing escalation plans
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL and ETL (extract, transform, load) processes
  • Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting data insights

What the job involves

  • On the Business Partnership (BP) Team within Finance Operations (FinOps), you will find yourself working with multi talented and dedicated people committed to driving financial improvement, scalability, and process excellence
  • As Amazon continues to grow, we are recruiting a FinOps BP in Corporate Accounts Payable to drive expansion in complex and innovative situations
  • You will lead critical initiatives across businesses, tech teams, and other stakeholders to drive change and implement scalable solutions to increase Vendor Experience, Amazon productivity and Free Cash Flow (FCF)
  • You will work with leaders across the world and use your problem-solving skills to manage complex and high visibility priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • We’ll give you the opportunity to really make a difference in a high growth environment where your ability to identify and drive change will be key
  • Working closely with our FinOps Services teams to identify and remove roadblocks, acting as the interface between our Operations, Business, Accounting, Finance and Project Management teams
  • Partnering with upstream Business and Technology teams to develop and deliver continuous system and process change programs through global go-to-green initiatives
  • Building financial and operational analyses to drive and influence data-driven senior leadership decisions across FinOps, Business and Technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions that prevent and eliminate defects and enable long-term business growth
  • Building scalable models in a cost-effective way, making sound recommendations on implementation of new tools, technologies, best practices and organisational structures
  • Communicating program updates to senior leaders and stakeholders across multiple Finance and Business teams
  • Supporting Business Partnering leads in identifying and quantifying financial and operational risks and opportunities to FinOps and across the company, driving ad-hoc projects as required
