Who you are

  • Proven commercial experience in setting goals, building annual plans, and managing budgets. Revenue growth..
  • Strong background in data driven marketing roadmaps, ideally from a CRM consultancy or client-side program background
  • Extremely client facing, comfortable presenting to Senior Stakeholders
  • Credible client-facing skills – including presenting to all levels of client seniority, report-writing and proposal-writing skills and a strong grasp of relationship management techniques
  • Ability to operate with the entrepreneurial instinct necessary for a fast-moving, high-growth digital marketing agency
  • Friendly and accessible personality that exhibits a passion to drive business growth,
  • Deliver impactful work. A relentlessly proactive go-getter with a curious mindset, and excited for change and growth
  • Degree level education, Masters preferred
  • 8+ years Digital CRM marketing planning experience, with specific experience in email channel
  • Have demonstrable examples of direct involvement in consumer behaviour tracking and analysis for some of B2C fashion retail / eCommerce, Finance, Travel, and telcos/utility sectors
  • Identifying emerging opportunities that solve specific Client use cases, meeting key clients and prospects by development of business cases to help support new client investment
  • Be willing to travel to client offices in the UK (2-4 times monthly), and some travel within
  • Europe (1-2 times quarterly), as this is part of all project engagements, though less time is spent on client premises than at a traditional firm

What the job involves

  • Act as the lead for the overall strategic BAU and ongoing relationship to the client
  • Collaborate closely with VPs, Sales, key leaders across tech and data to drive profitable revenue growth, and introduce exciting product/service innovation and performance excellence in all that we do
  • Ownership and growth of existing client strategic retainer through cross and upsell
  • Develop and manage strategy and analytic roadmaps that define workstreams aligning to client objectives and drive omnichannel business impacts
  • Coach and mentor CRM planner and analysts within the function. Line management duties to the onshore CRM planner/s
  • Own and produce project briefings to span across both strategic and analytical requirements working alongside analytical team leads
  • Lead and own the QBR strategic lookback and forward planning content and coverage, and overall liaison with the client, client services and technical teams for their input and content
  • Customer journey mapping and new programme recommendations for our retail, travel, FS and Utilities clients
  • Track and optimise eCRM programme engagement and conversion, working with our Analytics Resource where necessary
  • Interpret industry developments and consumer trends to provide proactive recommendations to wider teams and directly to clients
  • Support new business pitches and new proposition development by demonstrating and delivering subject matter expertise
