What the job involves

  • As a Territory Manager in the SMB segment, you will be responsible for driving customer digital transformation through effective engagement with a variety of stakeholders, including executives, business leaders, IT leaders, architects, and developers
  • You will be a brand ambassador, supporting our customers, partners, and end-users as they work with AWS and utilize our cloud technology to innovate and improve their business outcomes
  • In this role, you will think big to develop the SMB segment and be curious about the entire portfolio of AWS products and services across strategic accounts
  • As a trusted advisor, you will listen to our customers and help solve complex business transformation and growth challenges, enabling them to focus on delivering optimal business results
  • Your responsibilities will include customer engagement, creating a pipeline of strategic accounts, and managing existing customers
  • As builders, we aim to create long-term relationships with our customers
  • With a strong bias for action, you will enhance user experiences while engaging with external and internal stakeholders, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Support SMB customers within a defined territory, taking ownership of the territory
  • Drive adoption of new AWS services by focusing on customer needs and problems
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders across the entire customer organization, including engaging with C-suite executives
  • Collaborate with the AWS partner community to ensure strong partner alignment in supporting your customers
  • Work with various supporting functions in AWS, including specialist sales and technical teams, to meet customer requirements

On top of this, the company's e-commerce division is facing profitability problems despite its 2023 post-IPO debt funding of 8 billion. It will need to find new ways to stay above their competitors.
