Role
Who you are
- We're on the hunt for a highly creative and skilled Motion Graphic Designer to create engaging and on-brand motion graphics for a variety of media
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of animation, graphic design, and visual storytelling, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- 2+ years of experience as a motion graphics designer, ideally within SaaS-based environment
- Proficient in Adobe Suite, specifically After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Bonus: experience in Figma
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-end digital design skills
- Excellent communication skills to interpret and negotiate briefs
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines
What the job involves
- Design and produce high-quality motion graphics for digital platforms, including websites, social media, video content, and presentations
- Experience with storytelling of product features, working with user interfaces and simplifying user flows to create engaging motion design
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts, storyboards, and design animations that align with our brand and messaging
- Create visually appealing and dynamic animations, including 2D/3D animations, typography animations, explainer videos, GIFS and more
- Edit and animate video footage, graphics, and audio to create cohesive and compelling content
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas, fostering a collaborative creative environment
- Test graphics across various media, making amendments based on feedback to ensure optimal performance
- Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines, deadlines, and design standards
- Support with other design initiatives when required

Through its visualization app Roomvo, Leap Tools solves the problem of eCommerce conversion rates by literally showing what the product will look like amidst a user's other possessions, thus its main market is homeware, furniture, and accessories. This simple solution for converting potential to real customers also solves a leading problem in eCommerce at a time when 63% of all shopping journeys begin, if not end, online.
Leap Tools made its way onto Deloitte’s Fast 500 and Fast 50 for Canada in 2022, indicating a real interest in the product visualization software.
