Who you are

  • A successful candidate will be a strong communicator who can bring their industry expertise to drive vision and development cross-functionally across all levels of the organization
  • Must have a successful track record of working with stakeholders on new products
  • BA required
  • MA preferred
  • 3 – 5 years of product supporting a SaaS solution or equivalent experience with demonstrated ability to discover opportunities, and then define and deliver products
  • 2+ years of experience in container security, cloud workloads, or other related fields
  • Strong track record of working with business stakeholders to drive definition and alignment, strong communication and influencing skills, project management skills, and strong time management skills

  • Intuition to identify greenfield (or neglected) markets that align with Tanium’s platform and present opportunities for rapid growth

What the job involves

  • Our Product Management team is actively seeking a Product Manager for cloud workloads to join our passionate, driven and fast-paced team
  • In this role you will bring your in-depth knowledge of containers and other cloud workloads to design solutions for security and operations teams
  • You will own and maintain the product roadmap from ideation to launch of Tanium’s cloud workloads products in partnership with our engineering teams
  • This is an individual contributor role
  • Own the delivery of the product roadmap from ideation to launch in partnership with the engineering teams
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers across the organization to define the strategic short- and long-term technical roadmap of products and identify new opportunities
  • Document customer use cases, product requirements, and business justifications for new feature development
  • Partner with internal teams on development of appropriate materials to ensure successful enablement and training on new features and updates
  • Support product marketing initiatives, partner relationships, and other opportunities to accelerate the adoption your products and to build Tanium’s brand
  • Work closely with the business and technical teams to find solutions to daily challenges
  • Leverage innovation and trends in the marketplace to develop strategic solutions

It covers customers such as AutoNation, GoDaddy, and Whirlpool who use the company’s software to stay abreast of the ever-increasing level of sophisticated cyber attacks.

A valuable tool for enterprises and government organisations, it partners with leading platforms and service providers across the world like Google Cloud, Oracle and Verizon. In doing so, it allows security and IT teams access to accurate information on the state of endpoints, helping it to realise new levels of business resilience.

Tanium added a former US Defence Secretary to its Board in 2021. A collaboration with Salesforce provided a platform that supports IT service management, remote monitoring and management, and cybersecurity capabilities. In the same year, the appointment of CFO Mark Levine could signal an IPO in the near future.
