Role

Who you are

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B/SaaS/Enterprise products, a portfolio showcasing Growth design impact, and a track record of mentorship and raising team quality
  • To stay on top of product complexity, your work must be highly organized with a keen eye for details whilst maintaining a holistic view of larger user journeys
  • A strong understanding of business and product metrics
  • Experience in testing and validating designs using qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Ability to drive decision-making across complex projects and multiple teams in fast-paced environments
  • Skilled in creating compelling and engaging user experiences through designs that foster desired user actions and conversions
  • Ability to articulate design decisions through clear, empathic communication

What the job involves

  • The Growth stream works to improve the customer experience while accelerating business growth
  • A highly-analytical and data-informed team, we quickly validate our hypotheses through experimentation and turn that information into new features and products
  • This tight, cross-functional team has several areas of expertise:
  • Acquisition — attract the most relevant users
  • Retention — engage and empower new users
  • Monetization — help users choose and purchase a paid plan to fit their needs
  • Community Platforms — build an ecosystem with user-generated content and more
  • As a part of our Product Design team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to our design process, culture, and principles, and maintain and set the standard of design quality
  • At Miro, the design team is fully embedded in various product streams while operating as a tight-knit, centralized craft
  • While our processes are fully consolidated into the product development life cycle, we still enjoy a high degree of ownership and autonomy in our work
  • We’re striving to find the right balance between visual craftsmanship, user needs, and business goals
  • You'll apply a customer-centric approach to complex problem-solving and collaborate with other designers from some of the highest-profile companies in the world
  • Lead the end-to-end design process, from discovery research to effective problem framing, ideation, co-creation, prototyping, and user testing, into high-fidelity designs that will achieve a high impact on our business goals
  • Understand onboarding and adoption strategies, embrace best practices to generate experiments and solutions, and validate these using qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Collaborate closely with UXR and analytics to turn insights into high-quality designs. Work with content design & engineering partners to ensure solid implementation in production
  • Measure the success of your solutions with the team and iterate on them
  • Delight new Miro users through high-quality interaction design and visuals
  • Grow our design team by improving design processes and mentoring other Mironeers

Our take

Millions of employees worldwide have moved to remote working, but existing tools are holding back the potential for collaboration. Tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams already provide remote communication platforms to millions of users, but they generally compromise on features required to emulate the team collaboration experience.

Miro has created a platform that provides enterprise tools such as collaborative whiteboards and mind-map software into an accessible and integrated service. As opposed to providing an 'all-in-one' add on, Miro allows businesses to customize and integrate the tools and resources within their individual platform to cater to the team's specific requirements.

Miro’s initial strategy of offering free and discounted subscriptions and then moving to paid models has paid off. The platform currently has over 35 million users and is trusted by enterprises such as VMware, Zendesk and Frog. As part of its ongoing battle with Zoom, Miro acquired video-chat startup Around in 2022, to remain competitive in the market.
