Who you are

  • 7+ years of project or program management or equivalent experience in technology, data, or online advertising
  • 3+ years of experience within leadership
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of projects simultaneously with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize activities, advocate courses of action, pursue consistently to completion and clearly communicate results to all levels of management
  • Ability to investigate, analyze & solve problems, drawing conclusions based on data
  • Capable of identifying out-of-box alternative solutions and translating into actionable recommendations
  • Strong organizational, planning & time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication, both in person and virtually

Desirable

  • A whiz at Google docs, Confluence, JIRA, Project Management tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail
  • Strong team-orientation with the ability to develop relationships and influence cross-functional groups; very “customer-service” oriented
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Flexible and responsive to dynamic situations and changing priorities
  • Eagerness to get hands-on to figure out how things work

What the job involves

  • Lead a team of TPMs to drive the delivery of key cross-functional projects from conception to completion for our entire product portfolio
  • Partner with Product Manager(s) to operationalize the product launch including supporting Product Plan completion, identifying dependencies, communicating progress updates, driving cross-team alignment, and escalating blockers/issues as needed
  • Implement Technical Processes to improve efficiency across teams
  • Communicate and influence amongst a multitude of internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and manage business and project plans, monitor, support and communicate on the progress of projects
  • Prepare, maintain, and communicate timelines and key documentation, including meeting notes and status updates
  • Manage risks, issues, and take corrective measurements
  • Drive cross-functional alignment; lead cross-functional meetings, set agendas, follow up on actions items, deliver next steps
  • Generates analytics to support business decisions
