Who you are

  • Bachelors degree and/or relevant working experience
  • Native or C1 minimum German language
  • Experience with working in a multi-team collaborative environment
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com and Salesloft is a strong plus
  • Demonstrated work ethic and consistent over achievement
  • Lead generation or sales experience a strong plus
  • Selling eCommerce-focused solutions
  • The ability to learn quickly and be a self-starter are vital to this role

What the job involves

  • Bazaarvoice is looking for a bright and unique Sales Development Representative with a proven ability to understand how to assess a company’s needs and cater the outreach to each prospect specifically
  • Creativity is vital to this role
  • We need individuals who are hungry to get out and make business happen, who do not stop when obstacles are encountered, but rather, find an alternative way to break into a company and continually drive momentum
  • We want candidates whose energy can be felt on the other end of the line: we want ambition!
  • Responsible for positioning the company’s products and/or services via telephone and text channels, with well-qualified leads and target prospects
  • Generates prospective customers through cold calling and qualifies leads
  • Manages the handover of qualified leads to the Field and/or Inside Sales team for close
  • Mails marketing/sales literature to prospective clients, keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industry as well as competitive posture of the company, and enhances awareness in the targeted business community of the company and its products/services
  • Prepares activity and forecast reports
  • The ideal candidate will be able to articulate their ability to effectively manage both inbound and outbound Sales Development action, and has excellent client facing communication skills. Being confident in positioning a high-ROI solution that can cost the client over $125,000 per year
  • Demonstrating the value propositions of our products and services and working in a collaborative team environment with the local Sales and wider Sales Development functions
  • Effectively manage high volumes of leads and prospects within Salesforce.com and Salesloft, to accurately and efficiently process all opportunities
  • Excelling at qualifying each prospect to ensure the right level of follow through and commitment
  • Attending industry events where required to drive data capture and engagement
  • Executing at 110% to achieve your quarterly quota
