Role

Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer or in a similar position in the development of mobile experiences with emphasis on entertainment and games
  • Expert level understanding how to design for device comfort and screen resolution
  • Expert level understanding of unique interactivities within mobile and opportunity it presents (multi-sensory aspect of design considerations: tactility, visual and audio continuity)
  • Leverage and evolve an established FC Design System and Visual Identity when crafting visual and interactive solutions
  • Take ownership of design features autonomously and iterate on presentation and interaction to both look pixel-perfect and feel great
  • An eye for detail and visual composition with the ability to create visually stunning solutions (e.g. layouts, information organization, typography, color theory).|
  • Develop and maintain strong creative and collaborative partnerships across disciplines to help further develop the mobile experience and visual language
  • Find opportunities to improve implementation standards, process, and collaborative workflows
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate, rationalize, and empathize with user needs effectively
  • Be a mentor and foster a culture of growth and education within the XD team while being a champion for experience design within the organization
  • Champion the change, innovate and stay ahead of trends and pushing boundaries
  • Deliver all phases of production from concept to completion (e.g. mockups, hi-fidelity comps, prototypes, production-ready assets in alignment with the product's goals, usability and accessibility standards and brand.)
  • Knowledge of technical constraints, optimization, and implementation are a plus

  • We at EA Sports have reached the next level of cohesion and craft by evolving into a modern Experience Design practice that brings UX and UI together, understanding that neither exists in a vacuum
  • We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and collaboration-oriented Experience Designer who will translate the gaming vision and experience of FC into an elegant and intuitive mobile experience that seamlessly integrates into a delightful user experience of FC
  • You will work closely with the Game Design Director and your partners from the Experience Design Team, Engineering, Game Design, Production, Art Direction and Creative Direction to create experiences that surprise, delight and inspire millions of players around the world to play
