Role
Who you are
- Demonstrated experience building production-grade full stack web applications
- Proven ability to work closely with internal customers and deliver software end-to-end in order to address their needs
- Experience with high-velocity and iterative development practices to deliver quality software
- Expertise in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, Next.js)
- Experience with backend frameworks for API design (Django, Rails, Laravel, Node.js)
- Working knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Experience with 3D graphics frameworks in the web (WebGL, three.js)
What the job involves
- Our Autonomy team is seeking a Front End Full Stack Engineer to develop web-based visualization and annotation tools
- These tools will allow the Autonomy team to introspect, visualize, and interact with data generated by thousands of Zips operating worldwide, solving Zipline’s critical autonomy challenges
- Design and develop web front-end visualization tools for Zipline’s autonomy data pipelines, delivering high-quality datasets to solve critical autonomy problems
- Create visually appealing and interactive user interfaces to explore and visualize 2D and 3D sensor and spatial data for internal engineers
- Design and develop greenfield annotation tools for in-house labeling teams to review, annotate, and augment visual data
- Collaborate closely with the perception and autonomy teams to improve on-vehicle ML models
- Focus on front-end engineering while expanding backend capabilities as needed in collaboration with the team

With big companies such as Amazon and Walmart examining “instant” delivery options, Zipline has a proven track record and the equipment and logistics in place to provide such services. 2023 funding pushed Zipline's valuation to a staggering $4.2 billion, indicating a bright future.
