Who you are

  • Experience of working with partners within a SaaS company
  • Experience of financial and regulatory compliance
  • Experience of working within a Global Systems Integrator or managing them
  • Undergraduate degree and/or minimum of 10 years of related experience
  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office

Desirable

  • Experience in enabling partners, driving enablement plans and discussions to create centres of excellence ultimately to guide the partner to a point of self sufficiency across our solution portfolio
  • Partner account management, working with partners at all levels to achieve vision, support and agreement on capability needs and creation
  • Escalation resolution, working with partner delivery teams to resolve implementation issues, identifying the route causes and delivering those into a continuous improvement process for the partner
  • Leading a matrixed team in your “partner pod”, to drive quality, success and scale within your partner portfolio
  • Exec level communication, presentation and reporting of success to agreed goals and objectives
  • Experience of working with a sales organisation to transition customer/partner opportunities into your practice and recommending the appropriate engagement type needed based on partners maturity or scale
  • Begins to strategize on increased integration of cross-functional capabilities, pursuing innovation to address short- and long-term objectives
  • Internally recognized as a leading expert in profession; begins to be acknowledged as leader in strategic innovation

What the job involves

  • As a Partner Practice Director at Workiva, you’ll be in charge of a dedicated portfolio of partners. You'll be responsible for driving capability, skills excellence and scaling whilst also maintaining a high level of partner delivered Workiva solutions
  • You'll work closely with our Sales teams to support the pipeline of Partner Sales and work with our Alliance Leaders and Partners to help drive the creation of 'Partner Centres of Excellence' and to scale Partner delivery capability for Workiva solutions within the country and/or pan-EMEA
  • Work on significantly ambiguous problems that may impact strategy or future success
  • Be responsible for capability, scale and quality of partner resources to deliver against their customer pipeline
  • Own the strategy and direction of each partner and manage them through the phases of solution maturity and ultimately to the point of partner self-sufficient delivery for their own sourced deals
  • Apply innovative techniques to develop solutions that address future concepts, products, or technologies
  • Provide Operational Leaders with technical expertise on issues that impact success of functional objectives
  • Interact with directors and senior directors across multiple functions
  • Exercise some latitude in determining objectives and approaches that influence the long-term direction of Workiva
