Role
Who you are
- 6+ years experience in application development and deployment
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, Python, PHP
- Proficiency with a relational database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch
- Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Laravel, Django, Flask
- Familiarity with Vue
- Experience running software on Unix/Linux operating systems with Docker
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as version control, continuous integration, and automated testing
- Strong foundational knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technology

What the job involves
- Reorg is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Application Development organization within Technology
- As a senior engineer, you will collaborate with a team of experienced developers to design, develop, and implement solutions that enable our users to navigate the complexities of global credit markets
- The products you and your team build provide a powerful range of data, analytics, intelligence, technology and reports for more than 30,000 leveraged finance and restructuring professionals working within the global credit markets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new software features
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code that meets our high-quality standards
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and shared knowledge
- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions
- Debug and fix bugs or performance bottlenecks
