Role
Who you are
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in ML and AI
- Bachelors or advanced degree in relevant field preferred but not required
- Experience with training and optimizing Deep Learning models
- Applied experience with NLP
- Hands on experience developing and managing ML models
- Real world experience in deploying predictive models at scale to production levering large and unstructured datasets
- Experienced in Python and SQL
- Experience in LLMs and GenAI is preferred
- Superior communication skills with the ability to communicate complex mathematical and statistical concepts in simple terms
- Experience in SaaS is preferred
What the job involves
- We’re looking for an experienced person to join Procore’s growing Data Science and ML team (part of our Data, Technology, and Security organization)
- In this role your skills will be put to work towards our data team’s vision of enabling a data-driven Procore to fuel efficient and scalable growth
- In this role you will have the opportunity to work on high impact, and highly visible, AI,ML and Deep Learning models leveraging vast amounts of data with the latest techniques
- Work cross functionally with a diverse slate of stakeholders to understand the business and technical requirements to define impactful ML solutions
- Apply cutting edge ML, AI, and Deep Learning to stores of unstructured and structured data, using best practices to drive maximum business outcome
- Coach and mentor junior data scientists on the team; lead code reviews, provide feedback on technical designs, and define best practices for technical development and implementation
- Collaborate with software engineers to write application code and deploy models to a production environment using our ML platform
- Be a thought partner and design thinker in the evolution of Data Science at Procore
