Role
Who you are
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, notable part of it being in the data engineering space
- Experience with designing and building data pipelines
- Expertise in distributed systems, as well as different database systems and big data solutions
- Previous experience in designing, building and maintaining cloud infrastructure to support machine learning operations
- Experience in backend monitoring
- Experience with working in Python and basic understanding of the ML ecosystem
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced and passionate software engineer to help us build our AI and data infrastructure
- This person will work on building the end-to-end data pipeline, both in production and for training, as well as the infrastructure for training, hosting and running our ML models in production (on the cloud, on our servers and on-device)
- Build and maintain end-to-end backend infrastructure for training and running our models in production
- Design and build components within data pipelines for collecting production data
- Data engineering for efficient ingestion of data for the model training and evaluation
- Helping the team build and maintain compute training and inference infrastructure
- Monitoring the production and setting up alerting mechanisms
