Role
Who you are
- At least four years experience in professional tax services or an in-house tax function (tax advisor is a plus)
- Excellent technical skills in Corporate Taxation and a general understanding of accounting (HGB, IFRS)
- Reliable personality with high attention to detail
- Strong communicator with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, clearly articulate complex tax topics succinctly and ask for support when required to ensure high-quality work results
- Self starter with the drive to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, high-growth organization
- German language skills are required (at least full professional proficiency)
What the job involves
- This is a unique opportunity to be a key contributor and grow within a fast-paced environment
- Lead the execution of various corporate tax topics, including tax structuring, transfer pricing, tax declarations, periodic VAT and WHT returns
- Guide our European growth strategy of Trade Republic and participate in cross-functional projects to ensure tax considerations are taken into account appropriately - from an operational, compliance and efficiency perspective
- Analyse existing and upcoming tax laws and drive proactive action to prepare our business for change
- You will play an important role in fixing one of the largest challenges we face - closing the pension gap and democratizing wealth
