What the job involves

  • Amazon Business SSR team is seeking a talented Sr Product Marketing Manager to lead High-value Customers’ (HVC) growth in WW. As a senior leader in the WW Acquisition team, you will be responsible for laying the foundation of the HVC Acquisition and onboarding strategy, set the vision for the marketing and product strategy, shape the value proposition and drive implementation across WW
  • You are expected to own VP level business goals, influence tech and operations teams, communicate clearly and compellingly and deliver excellent results. The role requires innovative thinking, strong dive deep skills as well as customer and quality focus
  • The Sr. Product marketing Manager will work closely with the channel and segment leaders, engineering team along with other Amazon teams to implement a strategy that is coordinated across all B2B initiatives at Amazon. The role could be based in London, Luxembourg or Munich
  • Define the strategy to recruit and manage High-value customers
  • Drive product innovation to shape the value proposition for Resellers and Small market customers
  • Develop actionable marketing and sales plan to drive acquisition and spend
  • Attend events and trade-fairs to meet key customers in person
  • Work cross-functionality with a diverse set of Amazon teams including Technology, , Retail, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Tax, Finance and Customer Service to deliver on shared goals

Despite its dominant market position, Amazon will continue to be challenged over the next decade, including sustaining AWS's cloud dominance in the face of Google and Microsoft. On top of this, the company's e-commerce division is facing profitability problems despite its 2023 post-IPO debt funding of 8 billion. It will need to find new ways to stay above their competitors.
