• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, software engineering, or related field
• 1-3 years of industry experience in software development
• Proficiency and extensive programming experience in modern C++. Familiar with Python, Go, or other languages commonly used in simulation or data infrastructure development
• Good sense of systems and data-oriented design
• Knowledge of common software performance issues and optimization strategies for performance-critical systems
• Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with product, QA, program, etc
• Have a high standard of technical excellence, maintaining and raising the technical bar for the team

• Facilitate seamless integration of simulation and other validation tools into engineers' daily workflows, embedding them deeply within the autonomous technical stack’s validation
• Empower the entire team to rigorously validate functionalities and ensure safety by leveraging our large-scale simulation system or data log-based tests
• Design and implement a scalable data storage and processing pipeline including data layout, placement, caching, indexing, query, compression, etc
• Continuously improve the reliability of the systems we build
• Work closely with autonomy engineers and build an understanding of how autonomy works to formulate the best solutions
