Who you are

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in B2B field marketing with an emphasis on demand generation and event (live and virtual) marketing
  • Experience in B2B/fintech and hyper growth environments a strong plus
  • Ability to strategically partner with Sales to plan and execute programs including disciplined lead follow up
  • Proven track record of crafting messaging and programs that drives results
  • Expertise in, or ability to quickly learn tools such as Marketo and Salesforce
  • Ability to think strategically AND roll up your sleeves to get things done

What the job involves

  • We are looking for someone who can dive deep into understanding financial advisors’ needs and get to know our products and competitive landscape like the back of their hand
  • As a key member of the Vise team, this marketing role is a true generalist, touching all aspects of the customer lifecycle and collaborating internally across all product and client-facing teams
  • As the external voice for our customer obsession, you will be responsible for creating and improving a wide range of marketing strategies and content, across a variety of audiences—including but not limited to, vise.com, social posts, emails, white papers, sales decks, blog posts, webinars, podcasts, and more
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns, encompassing both online and offline channels, to drive business growth and enhance brand awareness
  • Coordinate and manage content creation for the company website, blog, social media platforms, and email campaigns to engage our target audience and generate leads
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and target audience insights to optimize marketing efforts and deliver measurable results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and client services, to align marketing initiatives with company objectives and ensure consistent messaging
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, such as website traffic and social media engagement, to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist in managing and optimizing the marketing budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources and maximum ROI
  • Stay up-to-date with industry news, regulations, and best practices to ensure our marketing efforts remain relevant, compliant, and effective

It has been proven a popular prospect – Vise secured a valuation exceeding $1 billion at the close of its 2021 Series C funding round, and its managed assets have quadrupled in recent years.

Vise also leverages an interesting niche that could shore it up against the industry-disruption of robo-advisors like SoFi and Wealthfront. Whilst robo-advisors are good for smaller asset classes, they lack the sophistication to manage and grow complex asset portfolios. They also lack the human touch which remains extremely important to the vast majority of investors even in a tech-led investment landscape. Vise's product is therefore an astute middle-of-the-road compromise.
