Who you are

  • You have 4-6 years experience designing and building CRM and marketing automation systems with a high proficiency in Salesforce and Marketo
  • You have expertise in developing, executing, and measuring innovative and results-focused demand programs and campaigns
  • You have the ability to work in cross functional teams, balance multiple priorities and be a self-starter in a high-paced environment
  • You enjoy working with Sales and are obsessed with demonstrating marketing's contribution to qualified sales pipeline
  • You have the demonstrated analytical ability, specifically around program measurement and ROI, and program execution skills
  • You have proven experience in managing the creation of marketing content
  • You have experience influencing and communicating product offers to customers, prospects, and sales professionals; demonstrated by excellent written (including copywriting and proofreading) and oral communication skills
  • You have strong project management skills and experience with superb attention to detail
  • You have knowledge and hands-on experience with popular marketing automation systems, particularly Hubspot
  • You have expert understanding of the enterprise demand generation playbook, accompanied by a desire to get creative and experiment with new ideas, tactics, and opportunities
  • You are experienced in high-growth, fast-paced startup environments; preferably in generating demand for B2B enterprise products
  • You are skilled at negotiating contracts, overseeing implementation, and ensuring that vendor services align with the company’s demand generation objectives and performance metrics

What the job involves

  • Vivun is looking for a dynamic Director of Demand Generation to lead innovative initiatives that drive customer engagement and nurture our prospect database
  • In this high-impact role, you'll enhance operational processes, optimize our marketing automation system (Hubspot), and collaborate with content marketing and sales teams to create compelling marketing materials
  • You'll develop integrated programs to boost engagement, manage campaign outcomes, and drive significant pipeline contributions
  • With a hands-on approach, you'll improve our tech stack, support SDRs with impactful campaigns, and cultivate strong relationships
  • You will develop and execute demand generation initiatives to drive prospective customer engagement and nurture our existing database of prospects and/or customers
  • You are responsible for improving operational processes and reporting related to demand generation programs to measure effectiveness, performance, and ROI of marketing spend
  • You will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing automation system (Hubspot) to better nurture prospects and/or customers, drive engagement, and increase conversion rates to marketing qualified leads while improving the integrity of the overall database
  • You will collaborate with the content marketing and sales teams to develop (write, drive review process and publish) and promote marketing materials to drive awareness and interest
  • You are responsible for developing integrated paid and organic programs that significantly increase engagement and overall pipeline (SEO, Content Marketing, Webinars, Events, etc.)
  • You will segment and leverage the marketing database for greater campaign efficiency, contact outreach, and effectiveness
  • You will be responsible for analyzing campaign outcomes in detail, drawing insights and presenting results clearly to facilitate sound decision-making and the next steps
  • You will own the full-cycle demand generation motion for Vivun; align to 50% pipeline contribution target
  • You will have ownership or at least influence over the entire go-to-market machine: emails, webinars, events, digital, more
  • You will analyze and report on metrics and create reports in SFDC/Hubspot/Google Analytics showing results
  • You will improve on campaign and event execution and delivery over time; constantly move the needle
  • You are responsible for auditing, enhancing, and/or deprecating our current tech stack (Salesforce, Hubspot, Seismic, Gong)
  • You will be the “secret weapon” for the SDR / SDR Leader through campaign and content enablement
  • You will establish world-class relationships with the SDR Leader and Inbound SDRs

Our take

Thus far, the pre-sales teams of businesses have had no tool through which to track their interactions with the customers, and that's the problem that Vivun is solving. They provide software that allows pre-sales teams to gather customer information, and then collate the information and send it to the rest of the business, so that the sales team, product team, and executive staff have more information about their customers.

This empowers businesses to look at what their customers' needs are now and going forward. Vivun is the first to provide such tools and despite only being launched in 2018, it is already working with brands such as SignalFx, Dell Secureworks, and Harness.

Customers include Autodesk, Cloudera, Snowflake, Crowdstrike, Dell, and Harness. Going forward, Vivun is likely to face other competitors, and the space will become more crowded. However, an increasing number of businesses are realizing there is a problem with the disconnection between pre-sales and the rest of the company. Vivun received impressive Series C funding in 2022 which is being used to expand into EMEA territories.
