  • Previous experience using HRIS Payroll system(s)
  • Experience handling confidential information and have a knowledge of internal controls

  • Strong problem solver with the ability to know how and when to escalate questions, requests or concerns
  • Previous experience maintaining federal and state regulations a plus
  • Previous experience with benefits administration a plus

What the job involves

  • Maintain payroll operations & HR administration by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes
  • Collect and analyze payroll and benefits reports to manage any discrepancies
  • Handle all payroll information questions and requests
  • Work with A/P to ensure timely processing of all benefits invoices and review for discrepancies
  • Maintain company compliance according to federal and state regulations and guidelines
  • Secure confidential payroll operation information and maintain employee confidence
  • Manage payroll, benefits and HR records, entering any changes in HRIS, payroll and employee data systems (exemptions, insurance coverage, deductions, job title, team transfers, etc.)
  • Help build the processes to scale our payroll and HR administration operations
  • Work with People Operations on execution of other data-centric projects like compensation cycle updates, feedback reviews, internal survey(s) data analysis and more

Founders

They served in the IDF as a System Engineer for 3 years before working as a Software Engineer for 4 years. They worked at Samsung, Formlabs, MIT Media Lab, and RightHand Robotics before co-founding Tulip in September 2014.

Having taken a Ph.D. in Computer Science at MIT, they started working at MIT Media Lab in 2012. They have served as CTO of Tulip since 2014, alongside being a Media Lab Research Affiliate.
