Role
Who you are
- Ideally, you have 2-4 years of software engineering experience with ideally some experience in frontend development
- You are proficient in designing systems from the user frontend to backend compute
- Experienced in deploying solutions on Azure or another cloud service provider (we use Azure)
- Knowledgeable in building scalable services, containerized solutions, and application monitoring
- Expertise in C# for backend development, and experience with a JavaScript frontend framework like React
- Skilled in advanced backend topics such as caching, load balancing, and concurrency; familiar with domain-driven design principles
- You have worked in a fast-paced and dynamic start-up and keep a cool head when stakeholders' demands change
- German B2 desired
What the job involves
- We are part of the Venture Development of Dragon - Enpal’s heat pump domain. This means we are tightly integrated to the product and business development processes
- We build services and automations that streamline and accelerate operations at Dragon - from front end services for support agents to integrations of various services into our CRM
- Enpal Dragon is growing rapidly and the demands to our team become more complex and challenging every day
- Greenfield Projects: Our ambitious growth plans involve creating entirely new services and integrations, giving us the freedom to innovate and build from the ground up—led by you!
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: We work hand-in-hand with product teams and other stakeholders to support and develop the best implementation strategies

Rising electricity prices and increasing demand have led to renewable energy adoption to rapidly become mainstream, however obtaining a home solar power system can be complicated, time-consuming, and expensive. With a mission to bring affordable green energy to everyone, Enpal provides homeowners with an all-in-one solar solution that is both easy and affordable.
The company rents out solar power systems, saving customers from paying high acquisition costs and instead paying a flat monthly rental fee for their customised solar solution that covers all costs (including planning, installation, maintenance, and more), and includes a green electricity tariff.
