Who you are
- 3+ years of proven experience as a System Administrator in a multi-platform environment, with solid knowledge of Windows, Linux, and MacOS
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-oriented attitude
- A strong foundation in basic network administration, including LAN/WAN, network services (DHCP, DNS), and VPN management
Desirable
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Ability to script and automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
What the job involves
- As a IT Systems Administrator you will play a pivotal role in supporting our team and maintaining our cutting-edge infrastructure, as we work to revolutionize the satellite industry and connect the world like never before!
- Your primary responsibility will be overseeing our most critical Linux systems, ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems across cloud, on-premises, and physical devices
- Deploy, maintain, and oversee physical and virtual infrastructure
- Test and deploy new software and technologies
- Writing automation scripts
- Working closely with our engineering teams to provide support for the development and manufacturing of space hardware
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices for system administration
- Collaborate with team members to address IT challenges as they arise
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements and new solutions as appropriate
