What the job involves

  • As an Inside Sales Associate, you’ll be responsible for growing Curri’s presence within existing distributor accounts by connecting with local branch decision-makers
  • You’ll build strong relationships over the phone, via video conferencing, and occasionally in person
  • You’ll also play a key part in supporting national account strategies by uncovering bottom-up insights that inform broader partnerships

Our take

Curri is a construction materials provider that develops a last-mile delivery app that connects supply stores to customers. It decreases downtime on construction projects by enabling construction companies to have quicker access to materials.

The Y Combinator-backed logistics startup company delivers construction supplies and materials with an “Uber-like” last-mile delivery model. App users arrange an order, open the Curri app, and enter pickup and drop off locations to book the service. It offers live updates via the app to let customers follow and share the status of their deliveries. It also provides proof-of-delivery signatures and photos for tracking, regulatory, and compliance purposes.

As businesses in the construction industry are usually dependant on reliable delivery services, Curri faces an uphill battle convincing customers that their gig-model business structure is consistently reliable. But with significant funding and ongoing developments to its infrastructure and sales and marketing initiatives, the company is set to challenge the market.
