Role
Who you are
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in either SaaS or other sales into the legal sector
- An organized, efficient individual capable of working in a high trust, fast-paced environment
- An experienced ‘hunter-closer’, with a track record of managing deals to completion
- High attention to detail, confident in producing customer-facing content
- A good networker with ‘soft’ marketing skills who is comfortable working in a customer facing role
- Willing to travel, nationally and internationally as required
Desirable
- Experience in selling to and access to an existing network in the legal sector
- Experience in selling a SaaS platform
- Experience in after sales customer support and success
- Business analysis / requirements gathering experience
- Knowledge of legal operations, processes and systems
- Group claims knowledge or experience
What the job involves
- Work a sales pipeline of interested parties and manage deals through to successful closure
- Capture high level requirements and prepare initial proposals with the delivery team
- Handhold customers and the delivery team through the delivery process
- Ensure a smooth handover to the delivery team and post-sales support as required
- Manage existing accounts and capitalize on up-sale opportunities as they arise
- Listen to and learn from customers to continuously improve both the sales and marketing messaging and inform the product development pipeline
- Grow the ‘virtual’ presence of the company via LinkedIn, Twitter and other online activities
- Seek out speaking events, membership opportunities, awards and partnerships and work with the marketing team to prepare for and attend these events as the key customer face of the brand
- Support the company through the launch of new products and features

FinLegal’s marketplace lists a range of funders and insurers covering different types and sizes of dispute, ensuring users can secure the service they need easily and in confidence.
FinLegal provides services to a range of UK firms including Keller Postman, RPC, and Shoosmiths. The company has expanded into the US, with hopes to capitalise on the great number of US law firms that would benefit from automation in their mass torts and class actions.
