Who you are

  • You are technically sound, and a good data detective
  • Native Dutch language skills and Proficient English language skills
  • 3+ years Digital Marketing experience (particularly Search)
  • Strong expertise with proven track record in operational PPC account management (optimization, measurement, bidding, structure, audience management, targeting, keyword research, ad copy writing)
  • Strong skills in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Shopping
  • Experience in managing dynamic ad campaigns with product feed
  • Management and understanding of tracking pixels and Google Analytics
  • Experience in app marketing and marketing automation are a bonus
  • A passionate & data driven media expert with great knowledge of the Dutch digital media landscape as well as progressive measurement & optimisation techniques

What the job involves

  • We are seeking an experienced Paid Search Specialist to join the Benelux Marketing Team (based in Amsterdam) and Adevinta's global team of digital experts to lead on executing our search acquisition and retention roadmap
  • You will be part of a great team of talents in an agile and international environment and a work culture that's been genuinely committed to diversity & inclusion
  • You will be responsible for daily management of digital campaigns across multiple search platforms (Google Ads, Bing, Shopping), including campaign set-up, tracking, troubleshooting and optimization
  • It is expected that the Paid Search Specialist will be the "go-to" expert for topics across our search channels
  • The Paid Search specialist will run campaigns for our Re-commerce, Mobility and SMB verticals
  • In this role you report into the Global Paid digital team, whilst embedded in the Marktplaats marketing team consisting of Paid Media, Integrated Marketing, Content, CRM & Analytics specialists as well as external strategic Ad Tech partners and various agencies
  • Build Digital Marketing campaigns: experienced in day-to-day management of campaign set-up, trafficking, tracking, troubleshooting of digital campaigns on channels such as Paid Search, Feedbased Remarketing & Prospecting, Shopping and App Campaigns
  • Manage and optimize Digital Marketing campaigns within your channel responsibility: you will be hands-on, with a continued strive to improve performance, embrace automation and technology to streamline processes
  • Analyse, report, and present results: high level of cognitive analysis required and ability to understand data and the story it tells. Report these findings in a clear manner and identify additional opportunities
  • Scale your expertise: Keep ahead of the industry landscape to identify any potential opportunities for our business. Communicate and share learnings locally and globally with the intent to drive and scale best practices
  • Contribute to the identification of emerging media consumption & technology trends and test new ways to connect with our various audiences across multiple platforms & formats
  • Combine excellent paid digital media market, technical knowledge & data analysis to help the team develop, activate, and optimize a large variety of sophisticated campaigns across the funnel
