Who you are

  • A talented and inspiring marketing leader, you have experience in both B2B and B2C marketing roles for the UK market, a solid background in brand marketing, as well as experience in leadership positions
  • You have a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive brand recognition & revenue growth
  • You have experience in driving teams of diverse individuals towards high performance, based on respect and care
  • You have strong leadership and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels

What the job involves

  • Your overall goal is to be responsible for developing and executing a B2C and B2B marketing strategy that promotes our brand and drives revenue growth in the UKe UK
  • One of the big topics you will be working on is integrating our two brands (Otta and Welcome to the Jungle) and re-launching as one unified brand
  • Team Leadership. You will lead a team of 4 highly talented brand & growth marketers towards high performance, by giving them direction, motivating them, organising their work and growing their skills. You will have the opportunity to grow the team over time as our business expands
  • Strategy & Planning. You will define the overarching UK marketing plan, partner with the Country Manager and other departments (eg. Product, Revenue Operations, Global Marketing, etc.) to align global and local marketing initiatives with UK goals and oversee execution within a set budget
  • Growth Marketing. You will generate high quality B2B leads (content marketing, webinars, e-mail marketing, SEO, paid campaigns, etc.), develop dedicated B2C programmes that drive acquisition, engagement and retention, adapt global initiatives and identify new market opportunities for sustainable growth
  • Brand & Communications. You will roll out the global brand positioning in the UK, ensure that the brand is presented consistently across all touch points, localise global programmes and launch local communications initiatives that increase our awareness & attractiveness for job seekers & companies through all the relevant channels (PR, social, paid media, events, partnerships, etc.)
  • Reporting & Analysis. You will research and track key metrics to optimise the effectiveness of your strategy, proactively identify opportunities and provide regular updates to senior leadership
  • Marketing is run as a global team. This means having a shared-resource approach to supporting all our key markets, in addition to having local leaders. The majority of our global team sits in Paris, and we will continue to grow this worldwide (incl. UK, US and France)
  • This means you will be part of the UK leadership team, contributing to key company decisions and working closely with the UK Country Manager
  • Your manager: You will be reporting into and working directly with our global CMO, Antoine-Benjamin Lequertier. He has close to 20 years of experience in marketing & communications, ranging from advertising agencies (FCB, DDB) to large tech companies (Google, Apple, Facebook). Antoine-Benjamin joined Welcome to the Jungle in 2021, driven by the challenge of building an exciting brand which aims at giving work a more sustainable place in our lives. As the co-founder and President of the LGBTech France association, Antoine-Benjamin is also very involved in improving LGBTQI+ diversity in the workplace
