Who you are

  • You have 10+ years of taking payments and/or B2B SaaS products to market using agile, user-centered design and lean customer discovery methodologies
  • 3+ years in Product leadership, preferably at a fast moving $100M+ ARR product-led tech company, defining vision and strategy and leading an exceptional product team to deliver significant business impact
  • Seasoned authority in developing and getting organizational alignment for product roadmaps across multiple product areas, balancing long-term and short-term goals
  • Significant hands-on experience collaborating with product design and engineering teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences iteratively
  • Exceptional leadership and relationship building skills, including senior and executive leaders
  • Customer-focus: Champion a customer-focused culture, constantly questioning and testing assumptions and biases so that we constantly delight customers
  • Outstanding communication skills: Clearly, concisely and persuasively communicate with all stakeholders, including executives, to build alignment around your vision
  • Humble: You know your strengths and weaknesses and actively seek feedback with a growth mindset to identify ways to improve and use your strengths to your advantage

What the job involves

  • AffiniPay is investing to accelerate growth with new product offerings that expand our addressable markets. We have an exciting market opportunity and product vision that provides massive developmental opportunities for our product team
  • We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Product Management who will be responsible for delivering business outcomes for the core MyCase product for new and existing customer segments
  • This individual will lead and coach a team of product managers in driving sustainable growth by assessing new market opportunities, iteratively delivering mission-critical initiatives to market and optimizing current products to increase acquisition, feature adoption, payment volume, NPS and retention
  • Our product teams discover and deliver features and products that customers love while driving business growth. We collaborate with Product Design and Engineering to develop a deep understanding of customer’s pain-points to build solutions that meet their needs
  • Senior Product Leaders are high impact roles at AffiniPay given that the success of our company depends on how well our products solve problems for our customers and our ability to launch successful new products into the market
  • Expertly drive the product strategy, define iterative roadmaps, and make decisions on where to invest to quickly drive value for our business and customers within your assigned product portfolio
  • Enable sustainable business growth by providing thought leadership to your product team, helping them when facing obstacles, and investing in their career growth
  • Drive product outcomes and metrics aligned to the company’s strategic priorities, balancing revenue objectives with investment in more strategic, longer-term product development
  • Deep understanding of our business, external environment (competitors, global market, etc) a wide range of customer segments for all of the current and high potential markets related to your product portfolio
  • Effectively influence, negotiate and articulate strategy / rationale with senior leaders at AffiniPay to build your vision and gain buy-in
  • Lead packaging and pricing decisions with key business leaders and gain alignment around complex GTM strategies that maximize customer experience & adoption
  • Developing strong relationships with Design and Engineering leaders to refine roadmaps and collaboratively identify exceptional scrum teams teams to realize your vision
  • Establish and rollout expectations for best practices that increase efficiency and effectiveness for the product team overall
  • Mentors others across the organization, developing and growing future leaders
  • Other Duties as assigned
