Role

Who you are

  • 1-3 years of relevant agency or in-house experience
  • You’ll be keen to pitch PR stories and build a new network of UK journalists to help us get more news coverage
  • You will be writing press releases and media pitches
  • You’re confident dealing with colleagues at all levels and will be comfortable communicating with CEOs/founders
  • Self-starter, full of energy and a great work ethic

What the job involves

  • The new PR Executive will play a crucial role in the next stage of our growth
  • We have our sights set on an even bolder ambition: to help one million businesses in need
  • Achieving this requires smart and hands-on people to help us hit that goal
  • Supporting the PR team in delivering a UK PR strategy which positions iwoca as the leading non-bank provider of small business finance among potential customers and investors
  • Working with our agency partner, you will help coordinate between teams and interna/externall stakeholders to develop B2B and B2C PR plans for new partnerships, new products, and other strategic announcements
  • Growing our social media communication and following will be a significant part of this role. This will include managing our social channels, writing for the blog and responding to reviews where necessary on sites such as TrustPilot and Google
  • Produce content for our blog platforms, which can be shared on social platforms and used by SEO teams
  • Support in collating information and drafting certain materials alongside the PR Director to support senior staff in the UK team around media issues and reputational risks
  • Reporting on our performance. Measuring impact with Signal AI and Cision tools (or similar)
