Who you are

  • We’re looking for an experienced brand marketer passionate about driving social impact, and keen to work in a high-achieving, supportive team
  • Experience in B2B brand marketing or product marketing
  • Expert storyteller - you’re a natural at crafting compelling messaging and making copy shine
  • Strong commercial instinct - understands the interplay of brand and demand generation
  • Considerable years experience as a line manager - you love coaching and developing people
  • You thrive at the intersection of creating strategy and process, and helping cross-functional teams to execute
  • A passion and aptitude for data analysis, advocating for customers and critical thinking
  • Strong aesthetic skills, with a keen eye for maximising the impact of collateral to build brand equity
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, articulating complex ideas in effective and understandable ways
  • A bias for action where no task is too big or too small

What the job involves

  • We’re looking for a Brand and Strategic Marketing Lead to join our team and help us make sure every school and multi-academy trust is excited about Arbor, and wants to use our products to run their organisation
  • This is a new role in our team which will combine leading on brand and content strategy across the Arbor Suite with crafting and delivering our national demand generation campaigns
  • Own end-to-end national, “broadcast style” campaigns to schools, trusts and LAs to drive demand for Arbor and its family of products
  • Craft and deliver on a brand marketing programme annually - defining brand activations to raise awareness, drive leads, and build equity with our target audiences
  • Build authority for Arbor and its brands in key thought leadership topics across content of all kinds
  • Partner with SLT at Arbor and The Key Group to evolve our brands and positioning for new markets and investors
  • Manage strategic comms and relationships e.g. PR, working with AWS and Google
  • Manage our Brand and Content Marketing Manager, ensuring they are equipped to meet pipeline goals and to develop in their career

Application process

  • Intro call: We’ll invite you to a 30 minute call with Ben, our Talent Acquisition Lead, to learn more about the role, ask questions, and tell us about you
  • First Stage Interview: If we think you’re a good fit for the role, we’ll invite you to a technical, skills based interview with Harriet, our CMO. The interview will involve a writing task and a series of questions to help us understand your marketing experience and skill set. It should last 90 minutes, and will give you an opportunity to meet with other people in the Marketing Team too
  • Second Stage Interview: Finally, we’ll invite you to a Values based interview with Harriet, and another member of the Marketing SLT. We’ll ask you to complete a task at home ahead of time, then ask you to present it in this session. We’ll also ask you questions based on our company values. This final interview lasts 60 minutes, and there will be plenty of time for you to ask questions throughout the process
