Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, Computer Science or related discipline
  • 5-7 years of experience in Product Management, Solution Engineering, or Solution Consulting, preferably within a SaaS organization
  • Experience working directly with the customers in Enterprise scale organisations on customer facing products
  • Experience working with Engineering & Solution architects to support the definition of system specifications based on client requirements
  • Strong technical background to enable understanding of Cubic’s technology domains and customer product & technology domains
  • Proven ability to listen effectively, ask the right questions, and champion the voice of the customer
  • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to generalize customer requirements into product requirements
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, and able to learn quickly in a dynamic, fast-growing environment

Desirable

  • Experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Data management and analytics methodologies, Microservice architecture and Cloud Native technologies, IoT technology stack, Wireless networks (GSM, LTE, 5G)

What the job involves

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and driven Senior Product Manager to lead our Home Streaming business line, liaising with domain-focused product teams in both software-development and connectivity
  • In the role of Senior Product Manager for Home Streaming, you will have dual responsibilities in product management and product marketing
  • Your duties will encompass gathering customer feedback, analyzing market trends, staying informed about competitors, contributing to sales target setting, and assessing go-to-market traction and performance
  • You will collaborate closely with teams across Software Engineering, Connectivity, Product, Data, and the Commercial Business to shape and implement future features and product improvements
  • Furthermore, you will play a key role in positioning and messaging the product in the market, serving as a primary advocate
  • This involves working alongside Cubic's marketing team
  • Collaborate within a global cross-functional team, including Engineering, Marketing, the Commercial Business, and others, throughout the entire product development and launch process
  • Analyse the competitive landscape, explore market trends, and interpret customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and problem-solving. Assess new technologies and provide recommendations for potential incorporation into future products
  • Gather worldwide customer, developer, and channel requirements for upcoming product development and exert influence over the product roadmap and priorities, handling trade-offs concerning features, schedule, and positioning
  • Develop business cases for future investment strategies within the product line
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Connectivity, Data, the Commercial Business, and other cross-functional stakeholders during product development. As the product champion, provide feedback on feature benefits and user experience to align with storytelling objectives
  • Foster collaboration with Product Marketing, Marketing, and the Commercial Business, as well as a diverse group of other Cubic employees, to effectively launch new products and updates
  • Establish product positioning and key messaging. Lead all outbound marketing efforts, including product documentation, keynote presentations, marketing materials, web content, sales training materials, user support, and other product information to ensure consistent and clear positioning and messaging
  • Take ownership of, monitor, and closely manage the measurement of product Go-To-Market and in-life performance through KPIs (financial and non-financial)
