Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, or
- Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience or
- PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc
Desirable
- Experience with the one or more of the following
- C and C++ programming skills
- Device Drivers, Embedded Software
- Networking drivers and protocol stacks
- Multi-threading and Linux kernel internals
- 3+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++
- Exposure or experience working with Networking protocols/Embedded Systems
What the job involves
- We are looking for motivated Software Engineers to join the Qualcomm Infrastructure Wi-Fi Connectivity group, to be part of defining the next generation WLAN products. As part of this group, you will be responsible for:
- Software architecture and design for WLAN features in embedded platforms
- Work with the Opensource community and upstream the ath12k driver changes to the Linux kernel.org
- Working with multiple cross-functional driver teams in feature architecture, defining kernel/user software interfaces
- Work with connectivity technologies (Ethernet, Wi-Fi - 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, Bluetooth etc.)
- Work with the largest Wi-Fi AP vendors in the world to develop and launch tomorrow’s next-gen Wi-Fi products
- Knowledge of wired/wireless technologies and IP networking is highly desirable, but not necessary
