Role
Who you are
- You love building rich user experiences, efficient and scalable backends and can amplify your skills through your team
- Several years experience as a professional software engineer
- Experience with Java and at least one Java application framework
- Collaborative approach to building feature-rich user experiences
- Experience with Ember, finance and a public cloud environment is a plus!
What the job involves
- We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our Reporting Team!
- We’re building a scalable, feature-rich billing system for wealth management firms of all sizes
- The platform will enable our clients to accurately bill for their services by managing their fee structures, bill their clients & reconcile the payments received
- We’re looking for a dynamic Engineer who will build an inclusive team culture, empower engineers to succeed and cultivate an environment that creates high quality engineering processes and product delivery
- You’ll work closely with product and design to deliver great products
- Our engineering stack is primarily composed of a Java backend with an Ember frontend, however we don’t require experience with any specific tool set
- We use Agile methodologies to deliver impactful business outcomes
- Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay
- Partner with designers and product owners to design and deliver significant features on our platform
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to our inclusive and dynamic engineering culture
- Advocate for standard methodologies and process improvements
- Help your team develop pragmatic solutions to sophisticated problems

Investment advisers require speed, clarity and flexibility when managing client portfolios. Addepar is a wealth management software platform created with these requirements in mind. The platform aggregates portfolio, market, and client data in one place, allowing financial professionals to analyze and visualize the data they need.
Addepar currently tracks more than $4 trillion of assets with circa 800 clients including individual advisers, family offices, and large institutions such as AllianceBernstein, Bartlett Wealth Management, and Morgan Stanley.
The multi-unicorn company has been pursuing global expansion, opening its first office outside of the United States in Scotland in 2021 and a new London office in late 2022 and appointing new leadership members from the likes of Oracle and Amazon Web Services. Addepar is certainly gaining momentum as it expands operations and further innovates its suite of solutions.
