What the job involves
- Work closely with our CEO, CTO, Engineering team, and customers to gather requirements
- Identify tool trends across multiple domains to advise customers on what they can build to hasten processes for specific organizations (HR, Sales, Support, Operations) and help customers build their applications
- Build applications using Superblocks and build video demos for marketing
- Review and write API specifications for internal and external stakeholders
- Use internal tools to build products you need to be effective
- Write and run scripts to retrieve or modify data
- Attend customer meetings to better understand our users’ needs

Founders Brad Menezes and Ran Ma went through the same process again and again of building new custom tools at every company they worked for, so they decided to do something about it. Realising that building blocks were usually very similar, they’ve created a a universal building platform that allows companies to build custom tools more quickly and easily than before.
Superblocks' selling point is customization - it has a wide range of app, SSO and monitoring integrations, including Slack, Google, and Datadog. It also offers both a managed service and a hybrid model with open source packages.
But the market for customer tools and workflow automation is a competitive one, with plenty of rivals like Retool and Airplane with good reputations and large customer bases. Superblocks stands in good stead though, with the impressive level of funding it has raised focussed on improving and expanding the range of tools it offers.
