Who you are
- We are seeking a Senior Rust Developer with proven blockchain experience to become an integral part of our dynamic team
- This role demands more than just a proficient coder. We need a master of Rust, a savvy operator in consensus algorithms, an expert in the Ethereum Virtual Machine, and above all, a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills
- You should be equally comfortable working independently or collaborating effectively within a team environment
- The ideal candidate for this role is a determined individual ready to face challenges in the rapidly evolving landscape of blockchain technology
- Mastery in Rust, with solid professional engineering experience
- Proven track record as a Blockchain Developer or similar role, including a comprehensive understanding of blockchain concepts, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic principles
- In-depth understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine, gas optimization tradeoffs, and security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the skill to design and implement efficient blockchain solutions

Smart Contracts are computer programs on a blockchain which automatically activate when terms of agreement are met. They’re a fairly new innovation, but they’re generating a lot of excitement for their potential to replace intermediaries and quickly settle agreements.
T3rn is attempting to further innovate the nascent smart contract hosting landscape with its open source platform that allows for interoperable, multi-chain execution on the Polkadot ecosystem. Contracts stored there are open to all, while developers can monetize their own created contracts.
It’s still very early for T3rn, which was founded in 2020. However, as well as partnerships with Polkadot and the Web3 Foundation, the company has also won financial backing from Digital Finance Group and Polychain Capital as it looks to hugely influence the overall growth of Web3.
