What the job involves

  • As Founding GTM, you'll be one of Siro's first sales hires. You will own business development - all outbound lead generation, qualification, and hand off in Siro’s beachhead market, in which we’ve grown over 400% so far in 2023
  • We will count on you to create the top-of-funnel enterprise deals, mid-market deals, and partnerships that will drive our next wave of growth
  • Design and execute outbound campaigns (e.g. mailers, cold calls, emails, personalized edible arrangements, conferences / trade shows) to book meetings with mid-market and enterprise sales leads in Siro’s beachhead market
  • Convert inbound requests (instagram dm, website chat inquiry) into booked meetings
  • Monitor top-of-funnel health and adapt, scrap, or create outbound campaigns as necessary
  • Provide regular, data-grounded updates on top-of-funnel health to the team
  • Design and execute multi-vector, meticulously personalized plans to reach and convert VIP contacts in our beachhead market
  • Autonomously collect qualitative feedback from Account Execs and quantitative feedback from reporting software on lead quality and adapt qualification processes as necessary to maintain high conversion rates across the sales process
  • Proactively interface with product to understand and take advantage of the selling points of new features
  • Follow up with pleasant persistence
  • Work directly with the founders, Joe and Jake, daily and be counted on to tell them when they’re wrong

Our take

The activities of sales representatives are essential for maximizing the profits of a business, but it’s difficult to optimize this when there is no efficient way of tracking conversations. It is almost impossible to know exactly how long a sales rep pitches a product or exactly what they said, and this makes it difficult for businesses to improve their sales.

Siro provides a digital mobile and desktop app that facilitates the tracking and analysis of the conversations of sales reps and clients. The app records and transcribes sales conversations, providing a quantifiable footprint of every sales conversation which can then be analyzed by sales managers for improvements.

Whilst the recording and transcription software behind Siro is nothing new, the integrated approach to tracking sales conversations is one that has been untapped until now. The company claims that when used properly, its sales coaching system can reduce sales conversation time tenfold - giving Siro the potential to take sales coaching to a whole new level.
