What the job involves

  • As the Sales Development Manager you will act as player and coach to a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDR), whose goal is to generate demos to provide opportunities for the Account Executives
  • The Sales Development Manager will work closely with sales and marketing leadership to ensure success for the Sales Development Representatives
  • As their lead you will help to train, coach, and manage the growing French SDR team and support the reps as individuals, and contributors to our success
  • Leading by example you will overachieve against your activity metrics and assigned quota, while coaching team members through call reviews, product knowledge and sales tactics
  • Coach and mentor team of sales development professionals
  • Participate in the recruiting and onboarding of new employees to the team
  • Develop and execute demo strategies to schedule a targeted number of demos for the SDR team
  • Develop the sales, product, and industry skills of each team member
  • Coordinate, direct, and monitor the outbound efforts of assigned reps by tracking and reporting weekly activities
  • Motivate team members through creative incentives
  • Manage promotions and marketing which is custom developed for each SDR team
  • Actively pursue all avenues of lead generation for the SDR team
  • Excel as a salesperson against your own quota and metrics
  • Lead a team of up to 15 SDRs
  • Other duties as needed
