- 3-5 years working in partnerships in in the point of sale, payments, or eCommerce space
- Proven results working across legal, product, and commercial teams
- Experience in a global SaaS environment, preference for fast-growth and global
- Track record of being able to both set or shape strategy, as well as delivering executional plans that have measurable impact on the business
- Experience engaging at an executive level both internally with cross-functional groups and externally with partners
- Proven record of leading a diverse, high performing team across geographical regions and experience building high-performing, inclusive teams
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability, while also able to collaborate cross-functionally with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to thrive in a fluid, fast-paced, unpredictable environment

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Retail eCommerce Partnerships Manager to join our team
- Reporting directly to the VP of Partnerships, you will help us develop and manage eCommerce product integration partners
- With a thriving ecosystem of hundreds of apps and partners building solutions to our eCommerce platform, this role will jump between multiple projects and priorities
- You’ll also be responsible for managing partners directly and will collaborate closely with the wider partnerships, strategy, product, legal, and finance teams at Lightspeed to determine priorities at Lightspeed
- Be the primary point of contact for eCommerce partners who work with Lightspeed across multiple product and multiple regions
- Drive alignment on our our priorities with existing partners to ensure the projects and priorities we are working on with partners fit our strategic priorities
- Manage our relationship with partners that are developing an apps that work with Lightspeed’s eCommerce platform
- Work with internal and external commercial and legal teams on negotiations and agreements with eCommerce partners
- Schedule regular touch points with key partners to ensure they can articulate Lightspeed’s priorities and how we can help each other
- Act as a point of contact for inbound requests to partner with Lightspeed
- Identify opportunities to simplify and consolidate agreements with partners that work with us across multiple products and regions
- Leverage connections and relationships with innovative partners in the retail space to create and develop unique opportunities for Lightspeed
