Our take

Ensuring GDPR compliance for any website or application can become very difficult, especially when operating internationally. Differing language and legislations can prove to be a legal minefield which requires specialised knowledge to navigate. iubenda was founded to simplify this process, generating legally compliant policies appropriate for the country of the end user, and allowing their customers to focus on their core business.

iubenda is a world leader in the niche it has carved out. With over 110K customers in the EU, the US, and 100+ more countries and an impressive list of major clients including Honda, Siemens and lastminute.com, it is the leaders in a field with only a few competitors. Its steadily increasing headcount and very high customer satisfaction shows that it is doing well and is unlikely to be shaken from its dominant position in this sector any time soon.

Having being acquired by team.blue, a digital enabler firm with 2.5M customers, iubenda has acquired consentmanager, adding its customer base and experience in GDPR-compliant software to the company. It now intends to accelerate its international expansion in eCommerce GDPR compliance.
