- You are an engineer with a passion for interactive web applications

- Computer science skill sets demonstrated through a degree in computer science or engineering or distinctive work experience in the field
- Experience implementing user interfaces using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Demonstrated design thinking as well as a deep understanding of React best practices
- Experience with Next.js is an asset
- Familiarity with Web components and WebGL canvas
- Exceptional attention to detail and focus on quality

- Apply your expertise to upgrade a legacy application from Polymer/Lit to Next.js/React
- Establish patterns that other engineers can use to easily enhance the experiences they are building
- Build intelligent, graphically intensive experiences that allow users to achieve their goals quickly and easily

Leap Tools is an AR visualization platform that helps retail customers visualize the products they want to buy within their own homes. Using augmented reality, Leap Tools purports to increase eCommerce conversion rates by five times and increase web transactions by 10%.
Through its visualization app Roomvo, Leap Tools solves the problem of eCommerce conversion rates by literally showing what the product will look like amidst a user's other possessions, thus its main market is homeware, furniture, and accessories. This simple solution for converting potential to real customers also solves a leading problem in eCommerce at a time when 63% of all shopping journeys begin, if not end, online.
Leap Tools made its way onto Deloitte’s Fast 500 and Fast 50 for Canada in 2022, indicating a real interest in the product visualization software.
