Role
Who you are
- Experience in compiled languages such as C# or Java
- 6+ Years of Experience building web applications in frameworks such as ASP.NET, SpringMVC, Express, Rails, or Flask
- Experience designing high traffic REST APIs, using Containers and micro-services
- Experience building large scale distributed systems with focus on scalability, reliability, and availability
- Experience leading cross team greenfield projects
- Well-versed in front-end development with at least one modern JavaScript architecture such as React, AngularJS, Vue, or other frameworks. (Bonus)
- An expert that has shipped multiple products / versions of products.(Bonus)
What the job involves
- Lead implementing features in our backend server and API stack that power the Roblox website and mobile apps for iOS, Android, and Amazon platforms
- The team owns shared libraries, infrastructure micro-services, and the JavaScript frameworks used by all other Roblox full-stack feature teams
- We work together to ship daily with testable and configurable features that allow for rapid experimentation, data collection, and optimize for performance and user engagement. You will join a team working on diverse problems
- Lead implementing features in our backend server and API stack that power and mobile apps for iOS, Android, and Amazon platforms
- Build new micro-services in a collaborative modern development process
- Write code in a diverse ecosystem
- Build the Metaverse
- Report into the Application Platform organization
