Who you are

  • 5+ years experience in a Front End developer role in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Hands-on experience in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit
  • Familiarity with HTTP, HTML5, CSS3, and Json
  • Experience with writing unit and integration tests for the application code you work on
  • Experience in building responsive UI that talks to RESTful services
  • Basic knowledge of RESTful systems, Object-Oriented design, Design Patterns, Data Structures and Algorithms

Desirable

  • Experience with AngularJS is a plus to aid with migration from legacy systems
  • Understanding of UI/UX design
  • Knowledge of OpenAPI specifications and client-side automation options available
  • Experience with third-party graphing libraries, can stay on top of industry trends and make technical recommendations
  • Develop Cypress test for UI components
  • Strong communication skills, to be able to articulate solutions to other team members and even non-technical people
  • Problem solver, team player, lifelong learner

What the job involves

  • Help define client-side architecture for our next generation of reporting systems
  • Build front-end applications with good visual design
  • Use cloud native technologies for design and development of web applications
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Build UI features to support authentication, authorization and data security
  • Maintain, and recommend software improvements to ensure responsiveness, efficiency, strong functionality, and optimization
  • Work as part of a scrum team to deliver UI features to IAS customers
