Desirable

  • Clear and precise communicator at all levels – be able to communicate trends and outliers within data whilst conducting reviews
  • Experience with dynamics is beneficial
  • CIMA, ACCCA, ACA qualified or equivalent with post-qualified experience in the professional services industry
  • Good knowledge and experience in accounting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Strong base of Microsoft Excel including financial modelling

What the job involves

  • You will be part of the global finance team, reporting to the Group Finance Director based in our HQ in Paris, working directly with the General Manager of the UK office and responsible for managing the finance function of the UK office
  • Assist management decision making around issues such as gross margin optimization and resource alignments, working closely with the entity’s COO
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial modelling and analysis to support decision-making
  • Work with budget holders to monitor and track actual spending vs budget
  • Oversee the monthly closing with the group accounting team
  • Produce and analyze of monthly financial and operational reporting (including P&L, KPIs, Cashflow)
  • Animate the budget & forecasting process within the entity, in accordance with the group’s guidelines
  • Ensure robust financial controls are in place for commercial activities
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function
  • Prepare, review, and approve payments
  • Collaborate with HR to process payroll payments
  • Work with global sales administration on cash collection
  • Maintain and develop relationships with external stakeholders including banks, auditors, and tax authorities
  • Oversee statuary compliance of the UK entity within, but not limited to Payroll, PAYE, R&D and VAT
