Role

Who you are

  • 4-year undergraduate degree, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3-5 years of client-facing experience as a Technical Account Manager or in technical solutions implementation or technology consulting roles
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Experience collaborating with business and technology stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Mobile marketing and technology experience is a plus particularly deploying and supporting mobile SDKs and performing and supporting customer data integrations
  • General knowledge of various digital marketing tools: analytics, attribution, ad serving, DMPs, push, and social media
  • General knowledge of data-driven marketing practices: audiences, analytics, retargeting, exclusions etc
  • Nice to have experience in machine learning, cloud architecture/services, serverless functions, streaming data, SQL/Analytics
  • Spanish speaking is a plus

What the job involves

  • As a Professional Services - Technical Account Manager at mParticle, you will work directly with our clients, often in collaboration with the Customer Success team, in owning technical projects, technical account health and relationships with our clients
  • You will play a critical role in ensuring our clients are successful in adopting, leveraging and growing with the mParticle platform, and maximizing value from our services and solutions
  • Your work will be meaningful and have a strong impact on mParticle and our clients’ success
  • You will have a high degree of freedom in your work, with support from the entire mParticle team
  • You will interact with some of the best minds in the data technology and marketing space and have the opportunity to partner with cutting edge platforms across the machine learning, analytics, attribution, marketing automation, and social media domains
  • Serve as the customers' trusted technical advisors by providing technical expertise on the mParticle platform and sharing technical best practices to help customers achieve their business goals
  • Serve as the customers’ Professional Services main point of contact
  • Own customers' evolving technical roadmap for the mParticle platform to ensure account's technical health and success
  • Evangelize, educate and support customers on data driven use cases and their execution
  • Collaborate across mParticle product, engineering, sales, and client services functions in orchestrating solutions to customers' use cases
  • Contribute to Quarterly Business Reviews with key clients
  • Author content for the mParticle Customer Knowledge Base and Blog including feature guides and best practices

mParticle is a retail customer data platform that improves the way companies collect information on their customers. mParticle utilizes sophisticated algorithms and machine learning technology in order to help drive better customer interactions. The firm also provides a range of data analytics services, A/B testing, marketing, and data warehousing tools.

Big data analytics in retail is expected to reach a total market value in excess of $25.5 billion by 2028. To help capitalize on this, the company has sought several acquisitions, the most recent being AI startup Vidora and analytics provider Indicative.

It is also working on its product to reach larger clients. It recently launched a new toolkit that allows enterprises to gather data from across the customer lifecycle, as well as introducing Custom Access Roles to its platform. A direct sync with Snowflake also bolsters the platform's utility, with other data platforms including Google BigQuery, Amazon RedShift, and Microsoft Azure to be supported in the future.
