  • A minimum of 10 years of experience successfully selling benefits, wellness, healthcare technology, or insurance solutions directly to large payers with a demonstrated track record of excellence
  • A demonstrated track record of developing and cultivating partnerships with quantified pull-through sales
  • Prior experience working in a growth environment and comfortable with the nuances of such
  • Deep industry expertise along with well established relationships with plan sponsors, consultants, brokers, and TPAs within the noted territory
  • Poise and experience selling to C-Suite in-person and virtually
  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills along with a captivating presentation style
  • CRM experience - Salesforce.com preferred
  • A relevant bachelor's degree
  • An ability to travel up to 50% of the time with overnight travel included, when it is deemed safe to do so

What the job involves

  • Great channel and business partnerships are the result of strong purpose, conviction and pride – pride in your ability and pride in your product
  • Bring along your passion and do your best work while building partnerships that make it easy for Clients and Members to access Transcarent and improve outcomes, experience, and affordability
  • In this role, you will primarily be responsible for helping to drive sales through aligned health platforms, third-party administrators, and health plans
  • Establish and maintain relationships with senior executives (C-suite) and health plan leaders
  • Deliver presentations in-person and virtually to employers, brokers, consultants and at industry functions to educate prospects on Transcarent’s Care Experiences
  • Follow-up on prospect meetings and successfully negotiate with prospective partners
  • Support in cultivating on-going sales through the partnership once launched
  • Provide marketplace intelligence on product and service needs
  • Assist in sales training activities and provide appropriate training to applicable producers as well as fellow associates
  • Participate in community, business, and industry organizations as appropriate

More than 60% of US workers who receive health insurance are enrolled into an employer-funded/managed self-insured plan. While such plans can reduce premiums for employers, this typically comes at the cost of quality and increased friction, as opposed to self-insuring through a traditional insurance company.

Transcarent has built a unified digital platform that allows insured patients to access several different healthcare services via a single tool - including consultations, ordering and renewing medications, and chatting with medical practitioners. Speed is a key cornerstone of its approach: so far, the company has been able to connect patients with practitioners in 60 seconds on average.

The business has grown steadily, merging with BridgeHealth and partnering with Walmart, and now serves over a million members across the US. With a substantial amount of funding, Transcarent has entered the world of healthcare Unicorns.
